Jiangxi Cable Co., Ltd., founded in 1969, is a professional cable enterprise jointly planned, designed and invested by the former eighth Design Institute of the Ministry of first machinery of the people's Republic of China and Shanghai Cable Research Institute. It is one of the earliest professional brand enterprises engaged in wire and cable manufacturing in China. It was once one of China's top 500 machinery and top 20 wire and cable manufacturers in China. In December 2020, Jiangxi cable was reorganized and controlled by Jiangxi Copper Group, a world top 500 enterprise.

The company has successively passed the quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system certification, 16949 automobile industry quality management system certification and the qualification and capability information verification of medium voltage power cable, low voltage power cable and control cable suppliers of the State Grid.
The company's "three color brand" registered trademark has been awarded "quality standard assured brand" and "Jiangxi famous trademark" by the national quality inspection department. The company can not only design and produce according to GB, IEC and other standards, but also design and produce according to user requirements. The products involve power transmission and distribution, marine engineering and shipping, construction engineering, mining, industrial manufacturing, rail transit, new energy, airport and other fields, and have established strategic service cooperation relations with many of the world's top 500 enterprises. The company now has the production capacity of a full range of power cables and various special cables of 220000 volts and below. The company has successively won the titles of "provincial advanced enterprise", "AAA unit for keeping promises and valuing contracts", "excellent bank credit enterprise" and "Jiangxi high tech enterprise". It has been determined by the State Economic and Trade Commission as a national enterprise for the construction and transformation of urban and rural power grids and a cable supporting unit for national key power generation, transmission and transformation projects.
